Loading Ports for Egyptian Pulses & Grain Exports
Admiral Agro loads export shipments FOB through three Egyptian ports β Damietta, Alexandria and Ain Sokhna β so buyers can pick the gateway that best fits their destination, shipping line and freight cost.
Our integrated processing and cold-storage facility sits in the New Damietta Industrial Zone, about 30 km from Damietta Port. From there we load containers and dry cargo through the port best suited to each shipment. Incoterms supported: FOB Damietta / Alexandria / Ain Sokhna, CIF, CFR and EXW. New to Egyptian origin? Damietta Port (primary)
Mediterranean port about 30 km from our facility β our default gateway for containerised pulses and dry cargo, with direct routes to the EU, the Mediterranean basin and North Africa.
Alexandria Port
Egypt's largest and most-connected Mediterranean port, with broad liner connectivity. A strong option for Europe, the Mediterranean and wider global destinations.
Ain Sokhna Port
Red Sea gateway on the Gulf of Suez β well suited to Red Sea, Arabian Gulf, East Africa and Asian routes, avoiding northbound Suez transit.
How to choose your loading port
For Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa, Damietta or Alexandria are usually most efficient. For Red Sea, Gulf, East Africa and Asia, Ain Sokhna is often the better gateway. Share your destination port and preferred Incoterm in your RFQ and we will quote the most cost-effective option.
